Artist Statement
My jewelry is created from my love of rocks and the peaceful focus needed in the process of joining and forming metal. I have always loved rocks and the natural energy they radiate. Metalsmithing offers a peaceful mindset where all else washes away for the time spent in the studio. I work mostly with silver and strive to build a setting that showcases each stone in an elegant, pleasing piece of wearable art.

I have worked many years in the retirement plan industry and journeyed into metalsmithing later in life. My journey into metalsmithing began in 2014 and it quickly became a passion. I have learned my craft from the many metal classes offered by Craft Alliance, networking with other artists, lapidary classes with John Heusler and various workshops in the St. Louis area.

My business name of Annie Dell Designs is a combination of my Mom's and Aunt's names. It is my way of honoring them and bringing their love of jewelry, adornment and ~bling~.
