Midwest Metalsmiths Art Show

Registration Details

Deadlines: Entry date begins Saturday, March 29, 2025, 9:00 AM.  Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. Early entry is important. A waitlist will be maintained online once all show spaces are reserved.

Fee: Existing member: $185 show space fee. (Note: membership dues must be paid/up to date before registration.) Note: One table per person.

Cancellations: Registration cancellations received before September 1 will receive a full refund minus a $25 transaction fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations after September 1.

Photography: You can upload images of your work during registration, although this is not required. Each image must be high resolution.  2MB Limit and 300 DPI. If you choose not to use the image uploader, please email jpeg images of your work for the show's promotional use to Kevin Von Mondfrans.  Please provide as many artwork images as you would like for consideration for social media use. Photos may be cropped (although unlikely); if so, you will have the opportunity to review your work for approval before 

promotion/advertising use. 

 

**The deadline for images used in announcements is August 1st, 2025.  Anyone needing help with their image settings, please plan to stick around after the July 26, 2025, 10:30 AM In-Person Meeting at Craft Alliance.  Laurie Von Mondfrans will lead a discussion that will cover how to manipulate your image files correctly.   

Show Details

Show Space: One 8' table, tablecloth (black, floor-length), and one chair are provided.
Display/Lighting: Artists are required to provide their own display and lighting. (Note: The showroom may lack sufficient natural or artificial light - tabletop lighting is highly recommended.)

Signage: Please price work so as not to advertise discounts, i.e. % off sale, 2 for 1, etc.

Table Size: 8' tables dimensions are 30" W x 30" H x 96" L.  *If considering raising your table, please get recommended risers, or if using a different style, please get pre-approved by the show chair, Cindy.

Publicity: Artist work imagery will be used on the Midwest Metalsmiths website and social media channels. Our Midwest Metalsmiths Art Show email list continues to grow, and we will use that for promotion! And as the majority of our attendance is in response to participating artists' promotion to their client lists, we will need YOU to continue to promote the show and help us expand and use all the resources!​
